  Ball Grinding Mill Overview



The ball grinding mill is a key equipment to grind the crushed materials, and the ball grinding mill is widely used in powder-making production line including cement, silicate, new-type building material, refractory material, fertilizer, ore dressing of ferrous metal and non-ferrous metal, glass ceramics, etc, and the ball grinding mill can grind various ores and other materials with dry type and wet type. There are two kinds of ball grinding mill, grate type and overfall type due to different ways of discharging material.

  Ball Grinding Mill Main Features and Benefits

1. The Ball grinding mill is made up of feeding part, discharging part, gyre part, transmission part (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, and electrical controller) and so on.
2. The hollow axis of the ball grinding mill adopts the cast steel, and the lining can be replaced. The big rotary gear is forged from cast rolling gears.
3. The barrel body is inlaid with wearable plates.
4. The ball grinding mill runs steadily and efficiently.

Ball mill is a principle and cylindrical revolving device, and belongs to external gear-driving ball grinding mill. The materials are transported by feeder, and gets into mill chamber through hollow screw axis equably, and there is lining plate and steel balls in the chamber. When the cylinder body goes round and round, the steel ball is taken to certain height, then falls down, and the materials are struck and grinded heavily. The above action repeats constantly till the size of materials reaches the required fineness. The powdery materials are discharged through discharge grate plate, and the milling work is over.

  Ball Grinding Mill Working principle

This ball grinding mill is horizontal type and tubular running device, has two warehouses. This machine is grid type and runs along the outside gear. The material enters spirally and evenly the first warehouse of the milling machine along the input material hollow axis by input material device. In this warehouse , there is a ladder scaleboard or ripple scaleboard, and different specification steel balls are installed on the scaleboard. When the barrel body rotates ball grinding mill produces centrifugal force ,at the same time , the steel ball is carried to some height and falls to make the material grinding and striking. After grinded coarsely in the first warehouse, the material then enters into the second warehousefor regrinding with the steel ball and scaleboard. In the end, the powder is discharged by output material board andthe end products are completed.
