VSI Crusher Working principle
(1) Center Feeding:
material falls down into feed hopper, then enter into impellor through entrance hole. It is accelerated in high-speed impellor, and then is thrown out at speed of 60-75m/s. When it hits impact plate, it is crushed. Final products come downwards though outlet.
Raw Materials fall into the hopper and then through the feeding opening in the center enter into the high speed rotor which will throw out the materials with high speed. Materials firstly impact those materials that are free falling down. Then, materials strike the materials-liner in the vortex or the impact liner. Due to rebound, they will back to top of crushing cavity and then fall down. After that, the falling materials with materials shot from the impeller form a continuous materials curtain. Ultimately, crushed materials will be charged from the discharging opening.
(2) Ring Feeding:
Raw materials fall down into feed hopper, and then through ring, and is divided into two parts by material-dividing plate. One enters into impellor across the center of material-dividing plate,then is accelerated and thrown out. The other falls down from the outside of material-dividing plate. Material, which is thrown out by impellor at a speed of 60-75m/s, hits material that coming down from the outside of material-dividing plate. In this way, material is crushed.
